1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the JebSave mobile application ("App", "Service"), you ("User", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App and uninstall it from your device.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JebSave ("Company", "we", "us"). They apply to your use of the JebSave app available on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store).

2 Description of Service

JebSave is a personal finance tool designed to help Indian users:

• Automatically detect recurring subscription payments through SMS analysis
• Track and manage active and unused subscriptions in one place
• Receive renewal alerts before subscription charges are deducted
• Identify and cancel unused subscriptions to save money
• View spending insights, Discipline Score, and Emergency Fund Goal progress

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice to users.

3 Eligibility

To use JebSave, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of India or have an active Indian mobile number (+91)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
• Own or have authorized access to the mobile device on which you install JebSave

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. JebSave reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users found to be ineligible.

4 Account Registration & Security

To use JebSave, you must create an account by providing your Indian mobile number and verifying it through a One-Time Password (OTP).

• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device. Do not share your OTP with anyone.
• One Account per User: Each user is permitted one active JebSave account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent service limits is prohibited.
• Notification of Unauthorized Access: You must notify us immediately at support@jebsave.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

JebSave will never ask for your bank account credentials, UPI PIN, net banking password, or any payment instrument details through any channel — email, SMS, phone call, or in-app prompt.

5 SMS Permission & Data Usage

The core functionality of JebSave requires you to grant READ_SMS permission on Android. By granting this permission, you acknowledge and agree that:

• JebSave will read SMS messages from your device inbox to identify financial transaction messages
• Only transaction-related SMS (from banks and payment apps) will be processed — personal messages are not read or stored
• Extracted subscription data (merchant name, amount, date) will be synced to our encrypted servers
• You can revoke SMS permission at any time from your device Settings, though this will affect the App's auto-detection functionality
• You have the right to delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy

6 Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, JebSave grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

• Download and install the App on your personal mobile device(s)
• Access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial subscription tracking purposes
• Use features as intended and described in the App and our documentation

This licence does not include the right to sublicence, sell, distribute, copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or any part of the Service.

7 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use JebSave for any of the following:

• Any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the App
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our systems
• Interfering with, disrupting, or overloading our servers or infrastructure
• Introducing malware, viruses, or any malicious code into the App or its systems
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools to interact with the App
• Misrepresenting yourself or impersonating another person or entity
• Using the App to collect data about other individuals without their consent
• Circumventing any access controls or security measures in the App
• Commercial exploitation of the App or its data without express written permission

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

8 Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the JebSave App, including but not limited to the software, design, logos, trademarks, content, algorithms, and the "JebSave" name and brand, are owned exclusively by JebSave or our licensors.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the App or its content other than the limited licence described in Section 6. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any part of the App constitutes an infringement of our intellectual property rights.

The JebSave name, logo, and product names associated with the Service are trademarks of JebSave. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

9 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Financial Advice

JebSave is a subscription tracking tool and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Information presented in the App (including Discipline Scores, Smart Insights, and Potential Savings estimates) is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial advice.

9.2 Accuracy of Detection

While we strive for accurate SMS-based subscription detection, we cannot guarantee that all subscriptions will be identified or that detected amounts are error-free. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of subscription data shown in the App before taking any financial action.

9.3 Service Availability

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

This limitation does not apply to liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JebSave, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the App or its features
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any false or misleading information you provide to us

11 Third-Party Services

JebSave may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services (such as subscription service websites for cancellation guidance). These third-party services are not controlled by us, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties. We encourage you to review the terms of any third-party service you access through or in connection with JebSave.

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), which is governed by Google's Terms of Service.

12 Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using JebSave at any time and delete your account through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion will result in permanent removal of your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

12.2 By JebSave

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• We are required to do so by law or court order
• We decide to discontinue the Service

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your licence to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 9, 10, and 13) shall continue to apply.

13 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.1 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, we encourage you to first contact us at legal@jebsave.in to seek resolution through good-faith negotiation.

13.2 Consumer Disputes

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Forum or the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

13.3 Jurisdiction

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.

14 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you through a push notification in the JebSave app
• For significant changes, request your explicit acceptance before continuing to use the App

Your continued use of JebSave after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before taking effect where reasonably practicable.
